I love this stuff!!!!!
Love this product!
I have used Alumilite for over two years. I purchased from this site for the first time and when I received the order BOTH part A and part B arrived UNSEALED with the cap half screwed on. Besides the box being covered in epoxy it had not been tampered with meaning the product was packaged UNSEALED. I emailed asking for a refund on a product I could not longer use and have not heard anything back. Very disappointed.
I bought this epoxy because it would be quickest to get to me while stores are all closed. I was surprised at the thickness of one part at first, but quickly discovered i really liked the epoxy thickness when putting it on my tumblers. So far I have made to much for etch batch of tumblers i do- because the coverage is so much better than what I've been using in the past! And the clarity is amazing
I've had a great time using Alumilite amazing clear cast. Easy to mix and pour at a 50 to 50 ratio, just make sure to give it time to dry.
I won’t use anything else!!
I've been buying smaller bottles of clear cast for about a year. I decided to get 2 gallons to work on tumblers for the nurses I manage for nurses week. They turned out great. I had one issue that I hadn't run into in the past. I used pearl alumidust in my first coat of epoxy over a white painted tumbler. I then applied glitter to the bottom half of the tumbler (extra fine solid colors). Some of colors of glitter caused a surface tension issue while on the cup spinner during the curing process and pulled the glitter up higher on the cup than I originally intended for it to go. It also left a distinct ring all the way around the cup where it stopped pulling. The dark colors of glitter seemed to be fine, while the lighter colors seemed to be the culprits. Very odd. It was neither here nor there for the cups I was making, but would have been an issue if I hadn't planned to do swirling layers over top of the base coat. I only mention in case someone else is planning to play around with tumblers. I love the product. I think just something to be mindful of when creating.
I have been using this resin for over a year and I haven’t had one complaint. It’s easy to mix and I like that once it’s cured it is very durable. I will never use another resin.
This stuff lives up to it's name.... AMAZING!!!Easy to mix and hardly any bubbles, which I greatly appreciate!
