Amazing Quick Coat is an easy to use 2-part epoxy that cures to a durable, high-gloss finish that is FDA compliant when accurately measured, properly mixed, and fully cured. This quick curing formula is tack-free in as little as 4 hours at 75°F.
Additional coats can be applied as soon as 1.5-2 hours. Mix slowly to minimize adding excess air bubbles to mixture. This quick curing formula does not have an extended open time to allow for air to release, therefore mixing slowly, but adequately is important. Amazing Quick Coat can be colored with Polycolor Dyes and Powders to add dynamic color to your projects.

The dry time is great, the smell is minimal. BUT this epoxy does NOT self level and it is very irritating. The first time I used this epoxy I mixed about 100ml of it and sat it under a light next to my tuners for 2 minutes. When I came back it was burning HOT and solid already. Once I use all of this product I will not buy again. The bubbles in the epoxy are also VERY VERY difficult to get out once it's on the cup. And if I do manage to get all the bubbles out, I overheated the epoxy and it then leaves the epoxy tacky which means I have to do another coat. Not a fan.
It did exactly what it said it was going to do...dry fast, love it! Once I will order the big one once I use all my other stuff I had already bought.
I absolutely LOVE the quick coat! I used to use clear cast, but now only use this.
I am in love with the quick coat! It has allowed me to complete projects faster which is great for my impatient self. I've not found any problems with working with it! Highly recommend!
I love how fast this product dries. I make the glitter tumblers and I thought I would only use this for projects with a quick turn around, but now I'm using it for everything because I can move on to another project much faster. I saw comments about how the product "never dried". I have had this happen a couple of times and I've narrowed it down to when I used the Tack It method for applying glitter to a tumbler. Because Tack It never really dries, I think this product has some sort of reaction with it and only cures to a certain point. I solved this problem with a light sanding and a very thin layer of a clear sealer. Regardless of this small hiccup, I just placed my second order and will continue to use the product because I really love it.
I was so excited to buy this product! I make tons of tumblers and have always used amazing clear cast. When this product became available I couldn’t hit buy fats enough. Sadly, my experience with quick coat is nothing less that frustrating! This epoxy smells quite a bit more than clear cast for starters, but that’s the least of my worries. This stuff never dries the same. I’ve literally made tumblers using the same mixed epoxy, one will dry the other won’t, sometimes it dries down to a slight tack, it’s just not reliable! Quick coat has actually put me behind schedule and has slowed down my production process exponentially due to sanding and retrying to get the tack to go away. Very disappointed.
I was so excited when I saw this product and ordered it right away. It never dried. It was always sticky and we let it sit for DAYS before giving up, sanding it down and going back to regular epoxy. Very disappointed. What I thought was going to save me time, cost me instead in time and money.
