I have been using this product for quiet some time now and i just cannot believe how much the costs has risen... and for that my I must find a new resin...HEARTBROKEN
Love this epoxy resin. I use it on tumblers and they leave no air bubbles! I have used tons of other epoxies and this is the only one that cures like class. It’s truly amazing!
This resin is by far the clearest I have worked with so far! I use it for all my coasters, cake stands, trays, and to top coat paintings. It is a more pliable resin even when it’s fully cured. To combat this I just apply clear cast for my top coats to help to become a little more firm.
Takes FOREVER to cure and is ALWAYS bendy. It doesn't matter how thick of a pour you do. This never seems to set. 1:1 isn't difficult to measure. THAT is not the issue. Out of the 4-7 brands of resin I use this is the only bendy 'finish'. Complete waste of money. I wish I could give negative stars.
Takes too long to cure, I wont use it again.
Well pleased with this product. Seems to take a little longer to harden but that could be to the colder weather we are having here in South MS. So far no issues such as cracking or bubbles. Cuts like butter and sands nicely. Polishes real well. Have used it on 5 projects so far and well pleased. Will order again.
This resin has a lower viscosity, which is great for less bubbles. If you need your resin a thicker consistency simply mix the resin and let it sit until it's the consistency you like. MIX WELL. A lot of issues people run into with resin is from not stirring slowly and not stirring for long enough. The cure time is longer, but my open work time is longer, my pieces have less bubbles and finished pieces are less brittle and very strong. I've used this resin for casting things 2mm thick and up and have had great results. Keep in mind thicker pieces cure faster than super thin ones. The price is also very reasonable for the quality of product compared to other resins I've tried.
Set and cure time to long. Seven days or longer to get full set. Two days before you can remove frome mold. You have to follow the directions to the print to even get it to work right. that means mixing for a long time. And you will need lots of mold release.
I usually use normal clear cast. I thought id try this because of the less yellowing. I’m not a fan at all. It definitely takes longer to try which I don’t have time for....it’s feels rubbery. I’m just going to have to go back to the original but I guess it was worth a try. Next time I won’t buy a gallon when I’m trying something new but I didn’t think it would be that much if a difference
