Alumilite Clear is a glossy, crystal clear resin that is convenient to use for a wide range of casting and turning projects.

  • High impact
  • Convenient 1:1 mix ratio (by weight)
  • Thin viscosity for easy mixing
  • Easily dyed or pigmented
  • Can be turned, drilled, sanded, and polished to high gloss
  • Off-mixing may produce hazy or frosted parts
  • Minimal bubbles can be achieved by slowly mixing and pouring
  • Pressure casting is recommended for bubble-free results

Note: The clarity of resin will shift from batch to batch based on the clarity of incoming raw materials. In most cases, this will not affect product unless used over white backgrounds.

    Alumilite Clear Slow foams and bubbles so badly that it has ruined many of our projects. This occurs even when we have done everything to eliminate moisture, including Bloxygen, and kiln dried wood. We can't afford to use this product any longer.

    I can't use this product if I'm going to pour more than a thin layer over a tumbler or another resin project because in thicker layers it bubbles way too much. It is very quick to harden though. I wouldn't use it for deeper pouring.

    For my product that I make, I can and do only use the best! Alumilite Clear is the best :-) I use between 32 to 48 lbs of this product a month and can say; I will never use anything else. Nothing! Customer Service is outstanding - folks that work at Alumilite are great - shipping is super fast and very reasonable - what else would one want? Right?

    I purchased a 2-gallon kit of Alumilite clear. I had some experience with epoxy and polyester casting. Using this product was a great experience, casting hybrid wood blanks, pure resin projects, and other materials. No odor, easy to mix, easy to turn. I used a pressure pot for bubble control, in addition to slow pouring and mixing, and had good success with minimizing (usually eliminating) bubbles. I used up the whole 2 gallons in about a month and I am excited to get more.

    Amazing Clear Casrt Plus

    I accidently bought this instead of regular amazing cast. I have been using amazing clear cast for about 4 years now. I like the clarity, and I had more working time. The problem I am having is that it is to soft when it finally gets hard. I kept thinking it would be as hard when it is fully hardened as the old amazing cast. It has been 2 weeks and sadly my castings are just not hard enough. I bought 2 gallons thinking this is going to be great. I used both gallons on the product but it never got hard enough. I just ordered 2 more gallons of the old amazing cast. This has put me 2 weeks behind on my orders. I will not use this product again. If you need a resin that is hard this is not for you. This is more like a hard rubber. I wish I had known this before hand.
